ICT is piss easy I do not worry much about that part. look if you worry about like pascal delphi or C++ then i can say yes it is hard in a way to program it right.

Maybe you have some problems to make a database in excel, but probably you only need to do some easy formulas.

For formulas in excell I actually do. Why?! because if you go later on to a company there is a chance that you need to make some calculations about payment and such. And then it saves the company some time if you already knows how the program works at least the basics.

No, thats what my mom is for.

In all seriousness though, my mom is an accountant and she NEVER used formulas and all that othr BS in excel.

And still excell is one of the most brilliant programs ever made and used world wide. for programming, clients upkeep calculations etc.

Maybe your mom is not using the program because she is using an other program that most likely use a database made in excell. But there are a lot of other accountants that maybe use excell.

Besides I looked at my new study(buisness economics also being trained to be an accountant) I want to do after the summer and there is a module about using excell and they say you will use it maybe in a company someday.


So in short it is necessary to learn the basics, but it is boring to learn.
