Haruki Murakami Empty
PostSubject: Haruki Murakami   Haruki Murakami EmptySat Apr 17, 2010 6:21 pm

Anyone else here a fan of his books? I know I am, even if I barely understand half of what`s going on in them, I just like the atmosphere of the books. At least of the ones I`ve read.

I have read:
-Hard-boiled wonderland & the end of the world (far out my favourite)
-Kafka on the beach
-A wild sheep chase

any other recommendations?

I love his books, I can always relate to them in a kind of strange way. Some stories don't make any sense at all, but it is written in a way that it all seems very logical. Just like in a dream.

I have only read his books in dutch, so I can only give you the dutch titles:
- Na de aardbeving
- De olifant verdwijnt
- Norwegian Wood (Just finished, sooo depressing, but I loved it)

I also have "Ten zuiden van de grens" and "De jacht op het verloren schaap" (probably A wild sheep chase), but I have only read the beginning. Each time I try to read one of these books something distracts me...
Maybe I will take one of these books to London this week
